What was the highlight of Senator Cádiz Spa Hotel

The Spa is amazing...and really fun for kids too.

My parents, daughter and i were in one room with three dogs so it was a little crowded but for the money in the centre of Cadiz it was great. And the jewel in the crown was the spa which we went to twice at the 'kids' hour and we all absolutely loved. Take your own flip flops and swimming towel so you don't have to rent towel and buy flip flops that you are never going to use again.

Top location and great breakfast

Location in the old town is just perfect. Breakfast was super and had a great offering as well as omelettes by order. Room was quiet.

Room was too warm as the cooling was not working because of winter season. The blueish lighting in a lobby was not very pleasant

Perfect location in the very center of the old town, ideal for 1-2 night stays. Very nice SPA & indoor pool - we enjoyed it very much with our kids (accurate temperatures, size, many smaller relaxing pools).

The hotel and rooms are a bit tired. Family rooms with basically just beds (2 bigger beds for 4 people), no sitting area. Terrible coffee at the breakfast.

Not sure this is 4* hotel but comfortable, clean and central

Really helpful and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Excellent massage in the spa. The view from the rooftop terrace was great.

No view - just a wall. The breakfast didn’t seem very well organised, with stations in different rooms, dirty dishes piling up and food running out. It was too warm in the room.

We had a very enjoyable stay in Cadiz, we would book the hotel again without breakfast.

The location was really great, it would have been better if the parking for our car was explained more i.e inform us to use the general car park close to the hotel and the charges. Breakfast was hit & miss be was acceptable (one coffee machine and a busy breakfast area.

Arrange the breakfast area more efficiently, otherwise the hotel & location was acceptable to us.

Adequate.

Character of the atrium and public areas and proximity to main sights.

Hot breakfast was not good. Best not to bother offering it in its current form - bacon and sausages were quite unpleasant and only hard boiled eggs. Rooms were quite plain and basic with no duvet just a sheet.

Perfect Hotel for a city break with pool and close to the beach.

Location was great. Close to places of interest and restaurants. Helpful staff. Rooftop Pool was a bonus. 15 minute walk to the beach. Good choice of breakfast, continental and cooked options and plenty of seating.

Air con in rooms was a bit haphazard.

Very Good

The bed was comfortable. The staff are nice and attentive. The location is excellent.

No sunbeds in the shade at the pool. No parasols. The hotel needs to be renovated, but that's not a big deal as everything works.

Welcoming staff in an ideal location and pleasant hotel.

Comfortable, clean hotel with spacious room. Very quiet. Hotel staff were excellent. Unexpectedly I received a bottle of champagne on my room on my birthday, which must have been picked up from my ID at check-in.

The gym was very small, i think four cardio machines and only one weight pulley device, which was broken. More of a token fitness room. The roof pool was also quite small.

Well located for the historical centre, a generally good hotel to stay for a few days.

The location was good, within the historic centre and near the port. within walking distance of the main attractions in this area of Cádiz, shops restaurants, and historic attractions. The breakfast was a buffet with a good selection and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Limited parking was available in the hotel garage but a very tight squeeze accessing it and we found it hard to find in the first place. We didn’t use our car whilst there. Parking is also available at a paying car park very nearby. Generally comfortable hotel and a good choice for our few days in Cádiz.

We were persuaded to upgrade our room upon checking in for a larger one with a seating area. However we were underwhelmed with the room and wouldn’t have bothered in hindsight. The bed was comfortable and bathroom well equipped but the room itself a bit tired and gloomy with brown decor and cheap looking furniture, could do with a facelift and a bit of colour.
